Injured Workers’ Pharmacy names CEO

Injured Workers' Pharmacy L.L.C., an Andover, Massachusetts-based national home delivery pharmacy specializing in serving injured individuals, announced on Monday the appointment of Michael Gavin as president and chief executive officer.

For the past seven years, Mr. Gavin has been the president of Duluth, Georgia-based Prium, which provides peer-to-peer, evidence-based clinical consulting, utilization management, utilization review and medication management services to the workers compensation market, among other services. Prior to his position at Prium, he was a senior manager with Kurt Salmon Associates, a provider of strategic advisory services to hospital boards, management teams and medical staff leadership.

In a press statement, Mr. Gavin expressed gratitude for his new appointment.  

“I am enthusiastic about building upon the current infrastructure to grow revenue while simultaneously supporting and developing industry relationships and maintaining exceptional customer service and value,” he said in the statement.

Injured Workers' Pharmacy was founded in 2001 and provides prescription services to workers comp patients across the country.
