BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Mexican cat bonds go on sale

The World Bank Group has made the first listings of catastrophe bonds on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange, Artemis.bm reported. The listings include the $320 million bond sale for the Pandemic Emergency Financing Facility and a $360 million bond sale to provide parametric disaster protection to the Mexican government. GC Securities called the Mexican cat bond “the first listed property and catastrophe bond” issued under the World Bank’s Capital-at-Risk notes program.
