To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Symantec hires former Aspen exec to head cyber underwriting

Oliver Brew has joined Symantec Corp. as chief underwriter at its cyber insurance unit, the company said Wednesday.

Mr. Brew most recently was London-based executive vice president, global head of cyber risk and head of international professional indemnity at Hamilton, Bermuda-based Aspen Insurance Holdings Ltd., Mountain View, California-based Symantec said in a statement.

Still London-based, Mr. Brew is responsible “for leading insurance partner engagement to enable the market to fully leverage Symantec’s cyber risk data analytics and underwriting platform technology,” the statement said. 

Mr. Brew joined Symantec in his new position late last month, according to a spokesman.

Mr. Brew’s previous positions include senior vice president and head of E&O at Liberty International Underwriters, a unit of Liberty Mutual Holding Co. Inc.
