Marsh & McLennan Agency appoints president, COO

Marsh & McLennan Agency L.L.C., the middle-market unit of Marsh L.L.C., has named Bill Jeatran president and Christina Mott as chief operating officer.
Mr. Jeatran, based in Minneapolis, succeeds Ben Allen, who has left the company, and will report to David Eslick, chairman and CEO of MMA, Marsh said Monday in a statement. Previously CEO of the agency’s Midwest region, Mr. Jeatran will focus on “developing and advancing MMA’s strategic direction through acquisitions, client engagement, talent development, and scaling best practices” the statement said.
Ms. Mott, based in New York in the newly created role, will also report to Mr. Eslick and will be responsible for “operational best practices, innovation, technology/digitization initiatives, and product development,” the statement said. Ms. Mott was previously innovation leader for Marsh Global Risk & Specialties.
