A study by the Indian government revealed that losses from natural disasters account for two thirds of all public sector losses, The Times of India reported. "The damage and loss resulting from impact on critical infrastructure accounts for as high as 66% of the public sector losses," said P K Mishra, additional principal secretary to the Indian prime minister.
