Nigeria's upper house has raised alarms over "current and threatening" dimensions of cyber attacks, citing losses of more than $450 million in about 3,500 cyber attacks on the country's information and communication technology space, Daily Trust reported. The upper house has urged Babagana Monguno, Nigeria's national security adviser, to alert security agencies and financial institutions about the threat.
