A senior source within the U.K.'s naval force, the Royal Navy, said that elite British dive teams have been inspecting ships' hulls to thwart a terrorist attack on liquefied natural gas carriers entering U.K. waters, The Maritime Executive reported citing the Daily Mail. "The concern is that tankers could be sailed into U.K. waters and destroyed either with mines or improvised explosive devices," the source said. Vessels coming from the Middle East are believed to be most at risk.
