Hub International acquires multiline brokers

Hub International Ltd. said Tuesday that it has acquired two multiline insurance brokers.
Terms of the deals were not disclosed.
Ellicott City, Maryland-based, Rossmann-Hurt-Hoffman Inc. focuses on commercial and personal lines of insurance. Norman Breitenbach, executive vice president of Rossmann-Hurt-Hoffman, will join Hub as president of Hub Mid-Atlantic, Hub said in the statement.
In addition, Hub has acquired the assets CIFS Inc., which does business as City Insurance Services, and City affiliates Silver City Insurance Services Inc. and J&C Financial Planning Inc., which does business as MOA Financial Services.
Los Angeles and Buena Park, California-based City is a multilines broker of commercial and personal lines insurance. City President Brian Jeung, president will join Hub California, Hub said in the statement.
Hub is the eighth-largest insurance broker worldwide, according to Business Insurance’s latest ranking.
