Singapore businesses uncertain about effects of changes to cybercrime laws

Singaporean business groups said they were uncertain about how changes to the country's Computer Misuse and Cybersecurity Act will affect local businesses, Channel NewsAsia reported. Ken Soh, chief information officer at marine electrical supplier BH Global Corp. Ltd. has called for better communication of the regulations particularly to small and medium-sized enterprises and increased awareness of cyber threats and digital capability alongside compliance cost considerations.
