BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Kaikoura quake world's most expensive insurance event in 2016

The Insurance Council of New Zealand said that the November 2016 Kaikoura earthquake generated about 38,000 claims making it the world's most expensive insurance event last year, TVNZ.co.nz reported. Most high-volume low-value claims came from the cities of Wellington and Christchurch, while high-value low-volume claims were concentrated in the top half of the South Island, the council said.
