Beazley offers media and entertainment policies in Canada

Beazley P.L.C. on Monday said it will offer media and entertainment liability coverages in Canada.
The coverage will include TV and film producers’ errors and omissions coverage, as well as media liability coverage for media companies through its newly acquired Canadian operations, Creechurch International Underwriters Ltd., Beazley said in a statement.
Coverage is available for TV, film, webisode and theater production, media professional indemnity and media liability products. The coverage offers production companies protection against claims including libel and slander, breach of confidentiality and intellectual property infringement, according to the statement.
Limits of up to CA$10 million ($7.6 million) are available, according to a Beazley spokesman.
