Navigators names cyber practice leader

The Navigators Group Inc. has named Jacob Ingerslev to the newly-created positon of global practice leader for cyber liability, the Stamford, Connecticut-based insurer said Wednesday.

Mr. Ingerslev, who most recently served as an adviser to Mountain View, California-based based cyber security software provider Symantec Corp., will be responsible for leading Navigator’s cyber liability practice, including product development, line management and advancement of the company’s global cyber initiative, Navigators said in a statement.

Based in Chicago, he will report to Vincent C. Tizzio, president of U.S. insurance, and Michael J. Casella, president of international insurance.

Prior to Symantec, Mr. Ingerslev held leadership positions at CNA Financial Corp., then-Chubb Corp., Zurich Insurance Group Ltd. and Gerling Scandinavia, the insurer said.
