ESIS Inc., the risk management solutions division of Chubb Ltd., said Wednesday that it has added telemedicine to the medical services offered through ESIS NurseLine.
ESIS NurseLine is a 24/7, telephone service that provide access to registered nurses for work-related injuries. The service will now provide access to medical consultation for primary injury assessment via video conference through smartphone or tablet devices, ESIS said in a statement.
“Our new telemedicine solution further strengthens our NurseLine capability by offering virtual doctor visits when care is needed … We are confident this telemedicine solution will provide clients with added convenience and greater cost savings to better manage their workers compensation programs,” Littleton, Colorado-based Veronica Cressman, vice president of ESIS medical programs said in the statement.
Clara analytics, a division of health care SaaS provider LeanTaaS Inc., has launched CATT, a cloud-based control tower that aims to help workers compensation claims teams reduce claim escalation.
