Specialty insurance firm H.W. Kaufman Financial Group said Tuesday that it has acquired Essential Insurance Services Inc., a provider of audit services for workers compensation coverage.
Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Essential Insurance Services is a Conifer, Colorado-based provider in audit services, including workers comp, general liability and other auditable insurance coverages, Farmington Hills, Michigan-based H.W. Kaufman Financial Group said in a statement.
Essential Insurance Services will become part of US-Reports, H.W. Kaufman Financial Group’s provider of audits, inspections, and risk management services. The Essential Insurance Services team will relocate to the US-Reports executive office in Fort Collins, Colorado, according to the statement.
Bermuda-based runoff specialist Enstar Group Ltd. has acquired U.S.-based engineering firm Dana Companies L.L.C. for around $92 million, The Royal Gazette reported. Enstar said that Dana holds liabilities connected to personal injury asbestos and environmental claims. Enstar added that assets of interest include insurance rights connected to coverage against those liabilities and marketable securities.
