BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Philippines suffers more than $100 million in damage from typhoon

A report by the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council of Philippines has found that typhoon Nina caused 5.2 billion Philippine pesos ($105 million) worth of damage to infrastructure and agriculture, GMA News reports. The report includes assessments in the Calabarzon, Mimaropa and Bicol regions. The report said that the typhoon damaged nearly 250,000 houses.
