Dec. 7 quake causes $67 million in damage

The head of Indonesian district Pidie Jaya Regency's public works office has said that the magnitude-6.4 earthquake that hit on Dec. 7 caused 900 billion Indonesian rupiah ($67 million) worth of damage in the district, Jakarta Globe reports citing Antara News. More than 12,500 units and around 50 mosques were damaged in the quake, which killed more than 100 people and injured around 700.
