Managed care company Enspiri Solutions L.L.C. has launched a nurse triage software program geared toward the workers compensation industry.
The software is tailored to workers comp insurers, self-insured groups, third-party administrators and managed care customers, as well as personal health care nurse triage call centers entering the workers comp market, Phoenix-based Enspiri said Wednesday in a statement.
Enspiri provides nurses and related services, allowing insurance companies to offer telephonic work injury triage services 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
“With approximately 5.6 million work injuries each year in the United States, and a growing demand for nurse triage services, more companies are beginning to offer these services,” said Paul Binsfeld, president of Phoenix-based Enspiri Solutions, in the statement. “Nurse triage is emerging as one of the most important cost-containment services in the workers compensation industry.”
MedRisk Inc. on Wednesday said it is introducing a new product that aims to tackle workers compensation cost containment with improved technology to ensure accurate payment.
