Marsh offers access to pre-approved legal panel

Marsh L.L.C. on Thursday said it has launched an endorsement that makes it easier for asset managers to access legal counsel.
Marsh’s asset management liability insurance panel service gives asset managers facing professional and management liability claims easy access to optional, pre-approved defense counsel, Marsh said in a statement.
The panel is made up of 20 asset management law firms that have been pre-approved by a select number of underwriters, according to the statement.
“With Marsh’s Asset Management Liability Insurance Panel, clients now have immediate access to pre-approved legal advisers eliminating the time-consuming and sometimes costly burden associated with hiring outside counsel,” Michael White, a New York-based managing director within Marsh’s FINPRO Practice, said in the statement.
