Week-long cabin crew strike could cost Air France more than $44 million

Air France-KLM S.A.'s chief financial officer Pierre-Francois Riolacci has said that the ongoing cabin crew strike at its subsidiary Air France S.A. could cost over €40 million ($44 million), Reuters reports.

Two of the airline's cabin crew unions called the week-long strike, which started on July 27. The unions initiated the strike after talks on renewing collective labor agreement failed. Air France said it would cancel about 30% of short and medium-haul flights from Paris Charles de Gaulle airport on July 28.
