BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Insurer adds pet-loss to paid leave policy

A Tokyo-based company has raised the bar for pet-friendly employee perks.

iPet Insurance Co. L.T.D., a pet health insurance company, offers paid leave to its employees who lose a furry friend, news outlet RocketNews24 reported, citing a Japanese website MyNavi News.

Employees receive three days off to grieve the loss of a pet, as well as two vacation days per year for spending time with Fido.

“We believe that, as a pet insurance company, we should take the initiative to create an environment which pet owners feel is worth working in, which is why we started this system,” a company spokesman told MyNavi News.
