Reinsurer names chief financial officer

RenaissanceRe Holdings Ltd. said Tuesday that it has named New York-based Robert Qutub chief financial officer and executive vice president.

Mr. Qutub succeeds Jeffrey D. Kelly, who retires Sept. 15. Mr. Kelly will serve as an adviser to the company after his retirement, according to the statement.

Previously, Mr. Qutub was chief financial officer and treasurer for investment adviser firm MSCI Inc., according to the statement.
