Employee benefits agency Digital Benefit Advisors, Atlanta, on Tuesday said it has acquired Alpharetta, Georgia-based benefits consulting firm USBC L.L.C.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
This will be Digital Benefits' second Atlanta office, the company said in a statement. USBC will operate under the Digital Benefits brand, and principals Joe Leigner and Jeff Thomas, along with their team, have joined the firm.
Additionally, founder Mark Reed of life insurance agency The Reed Co. has also joined this office, according to the statement.
Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. has acquired Lubbock, Texas-based Ashmore & Associates Insurance Agency Inc.
