EX-AIG exec joins Everest Re

Everest Re Group Ltd. named New York-based Marty Scherzer head of its structured solutions unit, Everest said in a Tuesday statement.
Previously, Mr. Scherzer was president of alternative risk solutions unit at American International Group Inc., according to the statement.
“We are thrilled to have Marty join the Everest team to continue the development of our structured risk capabilities for our brokers and clients,” John Doucette, president and CEO of Everest's reinsurance division said in the statement.
