BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

The Association of British Insurers Board has nominated Nottingham, England-based Andy Briggs to become its next chairman, ABI said in a Tuesday statement.

The ABI is a trade organization for insurers and long term savings providers.

Mr. Briggs is the CEO of Aviva U.K. Life and chairman of Aviva Global Life. He succeeds Paul Evans group CEO, AXA U.K., who has completed his two year term as ABI chairman, according to the statement.

“The ABI plays an important role working closely with government, regulators and others to ensure that the industry promotes best practice, transparency and great value for customers. I believe that as an industry our unwavering focus should be to help customers think both about savings, so that they can enjoy a secure and prosperous retirement, and also to protect their families, businesses and belongings when the unexpected happens,” Mr. Briggs said in the statement.
