Zurich North America names global head of credit and political risk

Dave Anderson has been named global head of credit and political risk at Zurich North America Commercial, Schaumburg, Illinois-based Zurich North America announced Tuesday.
Mr. Anderson most recently served as global business development director for credit and political risk. He succeeds Jim Thomas, who left Zurich earlier this year to join Hamilton, Bermuda-based Everest Re Group Ltd. to head its new credit and political risk business unit.
Mr. Anderson will remain based in Washington and will report to Bryan Salvatore, president of Zurich Specialty Products, Zurich said in a statement.
