Striking French oil sector workers have blocked oil terminals and fuel depots thereby disrupting distribution of gasoline and other refined products, resulting in petrol stations running dry and delays for tankers at ports.
The oil workers have called the strike to protest against the government's proposed labor reforms, Reuters reported.
"The European football championship starts on June 10 in France and we don’t think that the government will allow for all retail stations to be empty for that event,” said an official.
