Swiss Re Capital Markets on Monday said Judy Klugman and Jean-Louis Monnier will co-head its global insurance-linked securities business.
In these restructured, positions, Ms. Klugman will remain global head of ILS distribution and lead the ILS team in New York, while Mr. Monnier will take on the role of global head of ILS structuring and lead the ILS team in London, Swiss Re Capital Markets said in a statement. Mr. Monnier will also remain head of the property/casualty structured solutions regional teams in the U.K. and Africa, according to the statement.
“Swiss Re has always been at the forefront of the ILS market, and this restructuring shows our commitment to better serve the evolving needs of our clients,” Philipp Rüede, global head of P/C structured solutions, said in the statement.
Swiss Re Ltd. reported lower net income in the first quarter of 2016 amid low interest rates and declining reinsurance prices, but saw gains in premium income reflecting profitable growth in select markets and lines of business, the reinsurer announced on Friday.
