BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Crawford & Co. has introduced a new international management structure, the Atlanta-based claims management firm said Friday.

A team of six executives will report to Ian Muress, London-based executive vice president and CEO, international, under the structure, the company said in a statement.

The six executives are regional and country chief executive officers from the organization’s operations around the world. In addition, aligned with this group are five heads of the international operation’s shared service functions.

“As Crawford clients and stakeholders are aware, the company has made considerable efforts in recent months to simplify its global structure and provide an increasingly competitive service to the market,” Mr. Muress said in the statement.

“The new structure ensures that each aspect of our international business is fully represented at executive level, enabling rapid decision-making and tactical implementation up and down the chain of command,” he said.

The London-based members of the executive team are John Jenner, commercial director, international; Stephen Pearsall, finance director, international; and Kieran Rigby, CEO, Europe & Latin America. Also named to the group was Sydney, Australia-based Andrew Bart, CEO, Asia Pacific, and Pat Van Bakel, Toronto-based CEO, Canada.

The five heads of the international operation’s shared services functions, all of whom are based in London, are; Benedict Burke, chief client officer; Phil Churchman, chief information officer; Pauline Holroyd, vice president of human resources; Mike Jones, chief operating officer, United Kingdom & Ireland; and Chris Pinney, general counsel, international.
