New York-based law firm McKool Smith is launching a 14-attorney insurance recovery practice headed by principal Robin Cohen.
Attorneys in the group including Ms. Cohen had previously worked for New York-based Kasowitz, Benson, Torres & Friedman L.L.P., a spokesman said Tuesday.
In addition to Ms. Cohen, members of the practice, which will be based in New York, are principals Elizabeth A. Sherwin, Adam Ziffer, Kenneth H. Frenchman, Keith McKenna, Natasha Romagnoli and Burt M. Garson.
Also in the group are senior counsel Michelle Migdon and John Winsbro and associates Marc Ladd, Jillian Raines, Kristen Rossetti, Alexander Sugzda and Gordon B. White.
Willis Group Holdings P.L.C. on Wednesday said it has created a forensic accounting and complex claims practice to aid recovery efforts across a wide range of disciplines after large-scale disasters.
