Alliant Insurance Services Inc. on Tuesday said it has named San Jose, California-based Michael Heffernan executive vice president of its construction services group.
Prior to joining Alliant, Mr. Heffernan was an executive vice president at Aon P.L.C.
“Mike has an established history of providing complex risk solutions for construction clients; his hands-on approach in the client development, service and management process, combined with his knowledge of the construction market, makes Mike an excellent addition to our team,” Peter Arkley, senior managing director of Newport Beach, California-based Alliant, said in a statement.
Ironshore Global Property said Tuesday it will expand its builders’ risk coverage to include wood frame commercial construction projects in the U.S. and Canada.
