BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Arch Reinsurance Co. has named Morristown, New Jersey-based Jerome Halgan CEO in addition to his current role as president.

Mr. Halgan will be responsible for the overall management of Morristown-based Arch Reinsurance Co., the company said Thursday in a statement.

“We are thrilled that due to the reinsurance group’s considerable bench strength, we were able to promote from within Arch. I am confident that Jerome is the right choice to lead Arch Reinsurance Co. in this challenging market,” Nicolas Papadopoulo, CEO of the reinsurance group of Hamilton, Bermuda-based Arch Capital Group Ltd., said in the statement.

A spokeswoman on Friday said the company had no further comment.
