Genstar L.L.C., the San Francisco-based private equity owner of insurance brokerage Acrisure L.L.C., on Tuesday declined to comment on media reports that it would sell the brokerage.
Caledonia, Michigan-based Acrisure would be sold for as much as $2 billion, according to a Monday report by Reuters.
