Chubb appoints Europe and Southeast region executives

Chubb Ltd. has made several executive appointments for its Southeast and Europe regions.
The insurer said Monday that it has named James M. Shevlin senior vice president of North America insurance and regional executive officer of the Southeast region. Mr. Shevlin takes over from D. Scott Dalton, who will retire from Chubb on Feb. 15.
In addition to his regional executive officer responsibilities, Mr. Shevlin will manage the Atlanta office, Chubb said in a statement.
Barbara A. Wittick has been named regional chief operating officer for the Southeast region. Previously, Ms. Wittick was senior vice president and Tampa, Florida, branch manager. In addition, she will lead the Tampa branch office, and the Birmingham, Alabama, Nashville, Tennessee, and Charlotte, North Carolina, branch offices will report to her, Chubb said in the statement.
On Tuesday, Chubb announced senior leadership appointments for Europe. Andrew Kendrick has been named senior vice president of the Chubb group and regional president for Europe. Jalil Rehman has been named executive vice president and chief business operations officer for Europe. Matthew Shaw has been named executive vice president for Europe and division president for Chubb Global Markets. David Robinson has been named executive vice president for Europe and division president for the U.K. and Ireland. The new European executives will be based in London.
Additionally, Drazen Jaksic will serve as senior vice president of accident and health for Chubb in Europe and Eurasia and Africa; Rahim Firozali will serve as general manager for combined in Europe; Jeff Moghrabi will serve as division president for Continental Europe; Steven Reiss will serve as chief operating officer for Continental Europe; and Mark Hammond will serve as executive vice president and chief financial officer for Europe. They will be based in London.
