BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Wholesale brokerage All Risks Ltd. has launched a national insurance program for poultry farms.

This program offers protection for poultry farms in case of an avian influenza and Newcastle disease outbreak and is available through All Risks' national specialty programs unit, Hunt Valley, Maryland-based All Risks said Tuesday in a statement.

The coverage includes costs to replace a flock of birds, costs to prepare a barn for bird receivership and additional cleanup costs, up to $100,000, according to the statement.

“Avian flu is a very serious situation, as it continues to spread across the country and is predicted to pose a persistent risk to poultry farms,” Chris Kelleher, vice president of national programs, said in the statement. “We are excited to offer this coverage to retail agents so that they can protect their clients' livelihood with poultry insurance.”
