Insured losses from bushfires total $54 million: Insurance Council

The Insurance Council of Australia has said that insured losses from the bushfires in Australian state of South Australia have totaled $75 million Australian ($54 million), reported ABC Online.

The losses "are expected to rise significantly in coming days as assessors continue investigating claims from policy holders," said the ICA.
