Claims manager acquires catastrophe claims services provider

Parsippany, New Jersey-based claims management, managed care and risk management services provider York Risk Services Group Inc. has acquired Quick Cat L.L.C.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Brandon, Mississippi-based Quick Cat provides commercial daily and catastrophe claims services, York Risk Services said Wednesday in a statement.

Mike Boleware, president of Quick Cat, will maintain his current role and also serve as vice president of the York Field Services unit. Mr. Boleware will be responsible for expanding Quick Cat, according to the statement.

“Our field services teams have worked closely with Quick Cat, and we are thrilled with the addition of the Quick Cat team to the York family of companies. The addition of Quick Cat enhances our ability to respond to our customers on a nationwide basis when a catastrophe strikes. It also supports our continued commitment to provide our customers a full menu of services by rounding out our professional adjusting offering,” Don Sams, president of York Field Services, said in the statement.
