BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

The Hanover Insurance Group Inc. has launched a suite of cyber products designed to protect small to mid-size businesses from cyber attack and data breach related losses, the insurer said Monday.

The suite of cyber products are for business owner's policies. The first party protections featured in the coverage include notification and investigation expenses, cyber business interruption and extra expenses from data breaches. It also includes additional expenses like legal services, fraud alert, public relations and identity restoration, Worcester, Massachusetts-based Hanover said in a statement.

The cyber liability coverage also offers protection against third party claims. This includes privacy and security liability and cyber media liability for media breaches like infringement, trademark, plagiarism, libel, defamation, slander and invasion of privacy, according to the statement.

This product will be distributed through independent insurance agents, said the statement.

“With hackers and malicious programs becoming increasingly sophisticated, data breaches represent financial, reputational, and operational threats to businesses,” said Michael R. Keane, president, small commercial at Hanover. “Our new, comprehensive solution helps protect companies against these threats, while providing our agents a competitive advantage in the marketplace and providing their clients with more peace of mind.”
