Amerisafe Inc.’s executive vice president and chief financial officer has resigned, effective June 12.
Michael F. Grasher has informed DeRidder, Louisiana-based Amerisafe that he accepted a new position, the specialty provider of workers compensation insurance for hazardous industries said in a statement on Wednesday.
Information about Mr. Grasher’s new role was not immediately available.
Amerisafe said in the statement that it has “initiated an executive search to fill the CFO position.”
Mr. Grasher has served as the company’s executive vice president and chief financial officer since May 2013, according to Amerisafe’s website. Prior to joining the company, he was senior vice president of capital markets at Fortegra Financial Corp. He spent the previous eight years as a sell-side equity analyst covering the property-casualty industry.
The Risk Management Association on Tuesday said it has named Heidi K. Turley as chief financial officer.
