Gabi Siboni, director of cyber security program at Israel's Institute for National Security Studies, has said that hackers have started targeting electric and nuclear power plants around the world, The Jerusalem Post reported.
Hackers have also started targeting other critical infrastructure sites, said Mr. Siboni. "The disruption and possible infiltration of critical infrastructure is the most severe form of cyber attack," said Mr. Siboni, adding that "such attacks on airplanes or air traffic control towers, for instance, means that hackers could cause accidents, or even paralyze entire flight systems."
