Nautilus Insurance Group, part of W.R. Berkley Corp., has launched a cyber endorsement to offset the costs of a data breach, the Scottsdale, Arizona-based insurer said Friday.
The first-party cyber coverage, available as an endorsement to Nautilus’ general liability policy, offers a sublimit of $25,000 and a minimum premium of $100, a spokesman for the company said Friday.
The policy covers notification assistance, cyber investigation and crisis management expenses, as well as regulatory proceeding costs, Nautilus said in a statement.
Nautilus Insurance writes on behalf of Nautilus Insurance Co. and Great Divide Insurance Co., units of W.R. Berkley.
Disappointing investment results helped push W.R. Berkley Corp.'s fourth-quarter 2014 net income down 15.1% from the same period a year earlier to $110.7 million, the company reported.
