Many insurers see higher solvency ratio in China

China Insurance Regulatory Commission vice chairman Chen Wenhui has said that solvency ratios of one third of Chinese insurers are improving under the solvency regime - the China Risk-Oriented Solvency System, Asia Insurance Review reported citing local media.

Tests showed that solvency of the country's insurance sector remained stable, but the effect of the C-ROSS regime varied for different insurers, Mr. Wenhui said.
