Security officials in France have said that the level of terrorist threat has "reached a level without precedent" and more jihadist attacks are likely in the country, RT.com reports citing Agence France-Presse.
Counter-terrorism officials said that the threat is "permanent."
There are currently about 4,000 people who are "identified or suspected of evil intentions" in the country, a source said.
Islamic State fighters are the source of biggest concern, said another counter-terrorist official.
