Analysts upbeat on Nigeria's insurance prospects

Analysts have said that Nigeria's insurance industry has the potential to grow volumes and boost shareholder value, reported THISDAY Live.

This is, however, contrary to the views of some insurance experts, who said that the depreciation in the Naira value and falling oil prices would affect the insurance sector.

Insurers need to tap growth opportunities that would increase insurance penetration and enhance contribution to gross domestic product, said analysts.
