To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

Bahraini insurers profit up

Four registered insurers in Bahrain posted combined profit of 8.9 million Bahraini dinars ($23.6 million) in 2014, reported Asia Insurance Review citing Al Wasat newspaper.

The insurers are Bahrain Kuwait Insurance Co. B.S.C., Al Ahlia Insurance Co. B.S.C., Takaful International Co. B.S.C. and Bahrain National Holding Co.

All three insurers except Takaful International reported profits for the period.

Bahrain Kuwait Insurance's profits totaled BHD 4.2 million ($11.1 million) in 2014, up 15% year on year.
