BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Les Boughner, a top executive with Willis North America's global captive and consulting practice in Burlington, Vermont, abruptly left the company last week.

In a brief telephone interview Tuesday, Mr. Boughner, who joined Willis in 2009, said it was time to “pursue new ventures'' and will “evaluate options.''

Mr. Boughner is a well-known executive in the captive insurance field.

A Willis spokesperson in New York said Tuesday: “We can confirm that Les Boughner has left Willis. We wish him all the best in the future.”

Prior to joining Willis, Mr. Boughner held management positions at Arch Insurance Co. and Zurich Insurance Co. in Chicago.

Mr. Boughner began his insurance career with Arkwright Mutual Insurance Co. in Toronto and later joined American International Group Inc. in New York, where he was responsible for foreign captive programs.
