Moody's Investors Service Inc. has said that the insurance market in Qatar would continue to experience notable development in upcoming years considering the low penetration level in the country, The Financial Mirror reports.
Registering a 22% compound annual growth rate from 2006 to 2013, Qatar is the fastest growing insurance market in the Gulf Cooperation Council, said Moody's. Energy and engineering segments carry the highest underwriting risk but are also the rapidly growing segments in the country, Moody's said.
