To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Insurer results will be hit by Indian regulator's investment rule

The Indian insurance regulator's plans to cut investments in securities other than those approved by 10% may hit the returns of Indian general insurers, Taxmann reported citing The Economic Times.

General insurers in the country are permitted to invest 25% of the premium collected in a fiscal year into securities, excluding the approved securities.

The insurance regulator has called a meeting with public sector insurers to analyze the impact.
