BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Brokerages R.K. Harrison, Hyperion finalize merger

U.K.insurance brokerages Hyperion Insurance Group Ltd. and R.K. Harrison Holdings Ltd. have finalized their merger, Telegraph.co.uk reported.

The deal will form a company with annual revenues worth £400 million ($617.4 million).

David Howden, chief executive of Hyperion, said that the firm would be the world's largest employee-owned insurance business.

"There will be more consolidation among the independents. Just as it will happen in the Lloyd's of London market, it will happen in the broking market as well," added Mr. Howden.
