Tune Ins Holding's profit climbs nearly 7%

Malaysia-based insurer and reinsurer Tune Ins Holding Bhd.'s net profit for 2014 increased 6.8% year on year to 72.6 million Malaysian ringgits ($20 million), reports The Edge Markets.

Tune's revenue grew 14% to MYR 443.5 million from the year prior. Net profit for the fourth quarter of 2014 grew 9% to MYR 22.8 million. Its general insurance pre-tax profit "increased by MYR 5.6 million" for the fourth quarter, Tune said.
