A survey by Towers Watson & Co. has found that Asia-Pacific insurers see a talent shortage as their primary challenge, reported Asia Insurance Review.
Around 87% of them cited talent shortage as their most pressing resource challenges. About 80% of insurers in the region also expressed concerns over regulatory changes. "Insurers that have the right mix of people and skills are more likely to succeed," said Michael Freeman, a Towers Watson official. The survey also found that insurers in the region are more optimistic on growth prospects than their global counterparts.
